Laguna Beach is unlike any other city in Orange County. Our approach in Laguna Beach starts with the land itself. We study slope stability, drainage patterns, and sun exposure before developing designs that work with the terrain rather than imposing geometry on it. Retaining walls, terraced planting beds, and cantilevered decks become tools for creating usable outdoor space on sites where flat ground is scarce. The city’s strong artistic identity and environmental consciousness also shape our work here. Laguna Beach homeowners tend to favor naturalistic planting, native and drought-adapted species, and organic material palettes—weathered stone, reclaimed wood, and hand-finished concrete—over the polished, contemporary aesthetic common in neighboring cities.
