This project blends modern clarity with Southern France and Mediterranean influences. Material consistency, gentle curves, and framed sightlines shape an outdoor environment that reads as a seamless extension of the home.
Design Approach
Natural stone veneer anchors the composition on key focal elements — including the fireplace and feature walls — with warmth and texture. These are balanced by smooth stucco surfaces and cream-toned tile paving. Stepping pads orient perpendicular to the dining room window, extending the interior axis outward toward a fountain and accent wall. A sculptural water feature with a rain curtain, framed by two curving walls clad in handmade tile veneer, establishes a calm, layered visual focus.
Result
From the living room, the design offers framed views of both the fireplace and the water feature, allowing fire and water to coexist as complementary focal points. Olive trees frame the fireplace gathering area, while a jacaranda tree behind the water feature introduces seasonal presence. The overall design expresses a landscape that feels refined yet relaxed — where modern restraint meets Mediterranean warmth.
